Caroline is off to Florida with Nick for Nationals!
Below is an email the team received from Caroline from Florida.
Greetings swimmers and swim parents!
It has only been one day here in Fort Lauderdale and there is already so much to talk about! Coach Nick and I thought this would be a great way to get everyone else excited and involved in this great experience.
So let me tell you about the pool itself. The meet is at the Swimming National Hall of Fame, which is amazing! The main competition pool is outside and has 16 lanes! I have had two practices at the pool so far, and I have already learned some of the difficulties of swimming in an outdoor pool!
Along with the swimming, Nick and I have also been having a lot of fun here in sunny Florida! We have been to Bubba Gumps’ shrimp shack (a Forest Gump themed restaurant) and we have also been to the beach! But Nick only let me sit in the sun for 10 minutes.
Aside from all of the fun I really miss the team and I can’t wait to see all of you when I get back. If you are interested, I attached some pictures of the pool!
